Another angry woman 
I saw some of the TERF responses to Julia Serrano’s article so it was interesting to see the original. The amazing thing about those women is that they really think a doctor treating a teenager with gender dysphoria should consider their views — those of a third party motivated by a mixture of ideology and personal hang-ups and individual experiences that they generalise from, fuelled by ignorance (e.g. claiming ‘children’ cannot consent when in British law, they can if they have capacity). They also suppose that the rest of us will not grasp the real reason they are against puberty blockers for teenagers — they are afraid that they won’t be able to tell the difference between some trans women and any other women.
I’ve been planning a blog post for weeks to expose the obvious personal motives and logical fallacies involved in TERF concern trolling about “transing kids” as they call it, but I rarely have the energy to write after work nowadays.
BDSM can be very troublesome, and definately has issues it needs to deal with. I am not sure cutting it off at the root is the right answer, but it may ultimately be the only one. I am no longer involved in those communities, mostly because of my bady infirmities, but I do miss the freedom to be deeply submissive for a contained time (I could never do so full time like some.), and honestly, floggings are one of the best things in the world. But I can, and am, living without both, to no real loss.
